Letter from Bro. DeWayne Goodman
This week we as a body of believers found out that our shepherd and his family have come under direct attack from the enemy, by trying to affect Sis. Lisa’s health. When our spiritual leaders have been weakened it touches all of us and we, the Oasis body, must stand in the gap for our spiritual leaders as they do for us.
God tells us in Ps.103:2-3 “Bless the Lord, O my soul... forget not ALL His benefits… and heals ALL our diseases.” He tells us in Is. 53:5 “...by His wounds we ARE healed.” God promises as Pastor has just recently been preaching to us from 2 Cor. 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name, SHALL humble themselves and pray and seek My face… I WILL HEAL their land.”
We are directed to do this in God’s Word by prayer and fasting. I am asking our church body to do so, by starting this Sunday (22nd) to Easter Sunday (5th). When you fast or how many meals/days you fast is however you feel the Lord is directing you. Our church front door will be left open for those of you who may want to come and pray early morning, or during the day, or at night. What we must do as a church body is cry out to our Lord and Savior for His touch on Sis. Lisa.
If anyone has questions for me please feel free to contact me anytime at 918-351-0013. If I do not answer, please leave a message and I will get back with you.
Humbly your brother in Christ!
